WPS was selected to engineer and integrate AV systems throughout the campus, including: of high-end retail shopping, a 27,000 sq. MGM National Harbor was designed to be an entertainment destination for the D.C.-metro region with over 15 dining options, 27,000 sq. Architects and engineers focused on sustainability and efficiency leading to the LEED Gold certification with many innovations built-in to manage rainfall water runoff. Inspired by D.C.’s grand architecture, MGM National Harbor features visually-striking designs, from the massive plinth constructed from precast concrete and the curtain-wall system of the hotel tower to the composite metal porte cochère greeting visitors. Situated on the shores of the Potomac River and only minutes from Washington, D.C., stands the MGM National Harbor, a gleaming $1.4 billion, 23-acre, 300-guest hotel casino resort complex.
